What you’ll be doing...
The prepaid CRM team is a part of the Prepaid Marketing Team within Verizon’s Consumer business unit. Our mission is to reduce churn, provide insights that facilitate easy, personalized interactions between Verizon and its customers and increase customer engagement. Our North Star is the customer experience. As part of the Verizon prepaid marketing team, the system engineer:
Will develop and maintain the customer view in PEGA database and will be involved in the development and maintenance of ETL process, ETL scheduling, Prod ETL Troubleshooting and QA Data Troubleshooting.
Will size and create DB artifacts to meet business requirements (tables, views, etc).
Will manage Pega's data needs in terms of access and performance.
Will work to allow data systems to ingest, integrate, and manage all the required data feeds for daily campaign run.
Will work with data architects, dba and data scientist to manage the database and troubleshoot any production issue.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
In-depth knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and XML.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A Master's degree.
Two or more years in Pega Decisioning or BPM experience.
Prior experience in a Telecom, Cable, or Banking/Finance.
Three of more years of experience in Linux bash / lsh, solaris ksh.
Three or more years of experience in oracle pl/SQL, stored procs, functions, views, materialized views, synonyms.
Experience as a Platform Evangelist.
Fierce curiosity about Pega and Continuous Improvement.
Excellent interpersonal, business communication and writing skills.
A good understanding of integration with an enterprise multi-tier application.
