The Consumer Content and Partnerships Group is responsible for connecting consumers with the content and experiences they love on the nation’s best network. We oversee partnerships, source opportunities and negotiate with a broad range of content and programming entities, including major broadcast and cable companies, sports leagues, OTT/digital providers, studios, AR/VR producers, and more. Content increasingly serves as a key driver in consumer decision making. As the largest direct-to-consumer platform in the U.S., we have a massive opportunity to herald in the next consumer use cases for video, audio, immersive and live experiences. Within the Consumer Content and Partnerships Group, the Content Strategy and Business Development team is responsible for developing cohesive content strategies that can lead to realizable growth opportunities for the business, building and leveraging relationships with key industry players across the value chain, and guiding strategic initiatives in collaboration with cross functional teams. We are currently seeking a Content Manager to join a special projects team responsible for the development of a portfolio of content partnerships that delivers added value to our customers.
Manage a large portfolio of content partners and offers and ensuring the best entertainment partners and offers are represented across video, audio, gaming, fitness & lifestyle, commerce.
Take a strategic, analytical and curatorial approach to understand, advocate and articulate why a specific service or offering would be right for the portfolio.
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand the demand for specific content partners and optimize the portfolio to meet business goals.
Propose the best ways to highlight and surface content partners to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
Manage the portfolio of featured services throughout the year to align with external partner priorities and internal marketing and product priorities.
Ensure the content offer portfolio remains dynamic and relevant throughout the year.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience: Content Strategy, Business Development, Partnerships, etc.
Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have:
Strong strategic thinking skills and communication skills.
Adeptness with leveraging data to help guide decision making.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be effective in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and cross-functionally as part of a larger team.
Ability to use analytics to derive actionable insights and unlock additional business value.
