The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for introducing an innovative new product offering into the commercial and residential building wire markets. With the support of an industry leading manufacturer of wire and cable products, the ideal candidate will be able to leverage an established contact list of electrical contractors and a proven track record of capturing market share to effectively solicit, develop, and secure opportunities within the commercial and residential electrical markets.
Develop and execute strategy to effectively promote and distribute product offering into the designated geographical territory.
Ability to leverage an existing list of contacts of key decision makers to secure business and capture market share.
Proven ability to effectively conduct technical sales presentations to electrical contractors, electrical inspectors, and home builders; strong communication skills are essential.
Attend and present at local/regional trade shows to market Copperweld Building Wire.
80 to 100% Travel in support of above.

Minimum 5 years’ experience selling NM-B (Romex) and THHN building wire direct to electrical contractors and consumers
Established list of industry contacts and the ability to easily gain access to key decision makers

Demonstrated experience interacting with key decision makers that are responsible for the purchase of electrical supplies
Strong analytical capabilities
Effective people skills; ability to effectively communicate and present technical information to prospective clients, trade organizations, and electrical inspectors
Team Player and self-starter with sound problem solving decision making skills and organization networking capabilities with ability to share best practices across cross functional teams, multiple cultures and regions
Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships with cross-functional teams
Detail oriented with excellent planning and organization skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects with minimal direction; motivated individual who needs little or no guidance
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and the applications relevant to the position
