The Senior Producer is responsible for the production of video content for PGCC-TV and the college's internal and external marketing and communications initiatives. The Senior Producer is responsible for producing, scheduling and coordinating all elements associated with the production of professional television programs and series on behalf of the college and may, at times, act as producer for outside clients hiring PGCC-TV resources. The Senior Producer coordinates pre-production, production and post production for television programs, series, short form and long form features and documentaries for internal clients across all areas of the college for use on the web, social media networks, online video platforms, and the college's cable channels. Working with the manager of PGCC-TV, the Senior Producer schedules studio resources and any required outside resources in meeting the production needs of the college. The Senior Producer will use their professional television production experience and educational background in conducting research, interacting with administrative and high level officials, planning and coordinating schedules, script writing and supervising edits on selected projects, segments or features as needed in order to produce quality video products that represent the college and supports its mission and goals. The Senior Producer provides oversight and guidance on video projects through to their completion and delivery utilizing PGCC-TV team members and other resources provided.
Bachelor’s degree and two years’ related experience.
Supervisory experience a minimum of two years.
Portfolio of videography and multimedia design work is required.
Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m . Work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
