The Information Systems Support TechÂ Â provides support for the hospital information systems.Â Â Â Support can be provided in person, over the phone or online.Â Issues ranging from network systems to individual desktop computers are addressed.Â Â
Key Responsibilities include:
Responds to help desk calls for hardware and software support from all facility staff. Identify problem source(s) and resolve through a timely and effective process.
Installing or updating required hardware and software
Establish procedures to track publish and maintain system problems, staff inquiries, resolution processes.
Regularly interface with vendors to resolve problems, respond to staff inquiries.
Establish and maintain inventory log of all facility hardware and software.
Direct the maintenance, administration and installation of facility network and related systems cabling.
Establish and maintain systems security and daily backup procedures.
Provide on-call systems support via mobile phone outside normal shift hours.
Monitors, installs and manages camera systems to include digital video recording equipment
